Análises Ecológicas no R receives the SORTEE Commendation Award
Análises Ecológicas no R, the free open textbook written by Fernando Rodrigues da Silva, Thiago Gonçalves-Souza, Gustavo Brant Paterno, Diogo Borges Provete and Maurício Humberto Vancine, has received the SORTEE Commendation Award from the Society for Open, Reliable, and Transparent Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
The award recognises projects that promote open, transparent and reliable research practices in ecology and evolution. The project was nominated by Eduardo Santos, a SORTEE member, and selected by the SORTEE Awards Committee; the award was announced during the closing session of the SORTEE Annual Virtual Conference.
The book teaches the full workflow of ecological data analysis in R and is freely available in Portuguese at analises-ecologicas.com, with its datasets distributed in the companion ecodados package.
